Designed to produce more strenght and speed than the traditional Kort 19a Nozzle. The hydrodynamic special profile, suplies a softer and more free operation of the vibrations at the forward conditions.

To demonstrate the advantage of the Rice Speed Nozzle against the Kort 19A nozzle and the free propeller, We made a series of tests in a 72 feet trawler using a 365 HP at 1800 RPM motor and a 6:1 transmission.

Results:

• 4% - 6% Major bollard pull.
• 8% - 12% Major Speed
• 8% - 10% Major drag thrust

We compared the fuel consumption of three trawlers working at the same time with three propullsion systems.
